Aerosmith Announces Farewell Tour, ‘Peace Out’
Legendary rock band Aerosmith has announced their farewell tour, named “Peace Out,” after more than five decades of performing together (CBS News). The tour will kick off in the fall of 2023 and run through early 2024, featuring 40 shows across various cities (New York Post). The band’s website now lists dates and locations for the “Peace Out” tour, giving fans ample time to prepare for the band’s final performances.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be touring without drummer Joey Kramer, who has been with the band for its entire 50-year history (USA Today). In addition to Aerosmith, the Black Crowes will be joining the band on the tour, providing additional entertainment for audiences (TODAY).
The tour comes as the founding band members are all over 70 years old, with guitarist Joe Perry citing the time has come for the iconic band to say goodbye (Democrat and Chronicle).
