The Los Angeles Chargers have selected former Texas Christian University (TCU) quarterback Max Duggan in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft with the No. 239 overall pick (Chargers Wire). Duggan, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 207 pounds, was a good collegiate player (CBS Sports). As one of the stars of college football, he became a Heisman Trophy runner-up (Sportsnaut). The Chargers have now drafted three TCU players, including Quentin Johnson, Steve Avila, and Kendre Miller, in this year’s NFL draft (Fort Worth Star-Telegram). In a post-selection press conference, Duggan spoke about being drafted by the Chargers (Chargers 2023 Draft). Before the draft, the Dallas Cowboys had identified Duggan as the right candidate for a late-round selection, according to Sports Illustrated’s NFL Tracker – FanNation Dallas.
