Music icon Barry Manilow has exciting news for fans around the world. After a successful off-Broadway run, his musical “Harmony,” written with lyricist Bruce Sussman, is finally making its way to Broadway in October (Deadline) with choreography by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle (Broadway World).

The musical tells the true story of a German singing group with Jewish membership that was crushed by the Nazis (Yahoo News). Set during the rise of Nazism, it follows the journey of the group as they try to find harmony amid the chaos of the time period (The New York Times).

In a recent interview, Manilow revealed that he is busier than ever and will be honored by the New York Pops orchestra with a concert at Carnegie Hall on May 1 (People). Additionally, he recently announced the Manilow Music Project’s Music Teacher Award which honors a deserving music teacher (PR Newswire).
