American Idol Top 12

On Monday night, American Idol revealed its top 12 finalists, cutting eight more singers from season 21’s contestants. Luke Bryan expressed his shock that ‘one of the biggest voices’ Olivia Soli did not make the top 12. (USA Today) However, there were many others who were able to advance to the next round, including Mississippi teen Colin Stough who put a country twist on a gay anthem and shocked the judges. Less than 24 hours after kicking six contestants to the curb, American Idol gave eight more singers the boot on Monday.
