It has been thirty years since the release of Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster hit, Jurassic Park, and the film is still widely considered the best of the entire franchise (MovieWeb). To celebrate the movie’s 30th anniversary, a concert tour of Jurassic Park has been announced (NME). The tour will feature a live orchestra and will begin in the UK this October (Radio Times).
Jurassic Park has provided some of the most emotional moments in the entire franchise. Even though the reception to Jurassic Park III was questionable, it provided one of the most emotional highlights of the entire series (CBR). Muldoon’s brutal death in the original movie was surprising given that he survives in the novel (Screen Rant). However, the movie death actually makes much more sense.
The Jurassic World trilogy ended last year, and when Universal eventually revisits the dinosaur franchise, they might want to keep in mind that the sequels cost twice as much as their reported budgets (SFFGazette.com). While a fourth Jurassic World movie isn’t happening after Dominion, the director of the newest addition to the franchise, Colin Trevorrow, thinks that there probably should have only been one Jurassic Park (Fox News).
For those who are big fans of the franchise, tickets are now on sale for Jurassic World: The Exhibition in Atlanta (Secret Atlanta). It will feature dinosaurs from the movie climbing out of the screen and onto Pullman Yards.
