The New York Knicks are facing some struggles as they enter into their first-round playoff series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In Game 2 of the series, the Knicks suffered a complete team failure, culminating in Julius Randle’s crash landing after a flagrant foul by Jarrett Allen (New York Post). Despite Randle’s rough fall, he was reported as being just “fine” (New York Post).

However, it’s not just Randle who is struggling. Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett are both struggling offensively (New York Post). Additionally, while Josh Hart played through his ankle injury, he struggled in Game 2 (New York Post). In fact, Hart is now doubtful for Game 2 due to the injury (CBS Sports).

The Knicks did see a bit of a bright spot when Julius Randle returned from an ankle injury to give the team a big lift (New York Post). But despite this, there are some concerns for the Knicks going forward. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their current playoff series? Many fans were ecstatic after the team’s Game One victory over the Cavaliers (Posting and Toasting), but it remains to be seen if they can continue their success throughout the playoffs.
