Rangers

The New York Rangers started off their first round series with a 5-1 win over the New Jersey Devils on April 19th (NNN). The team dominated the game from the beginning, with Adam Fox contributing four assists and Igor Shesterkin making 27 saves (The Rink Live). The Rangers’ success was perhaps due in part to their new slogan for the postseason: “Time to Eat,” which can be seen in their dressing room and on their uniforms (The Hockey News).

Despite being mocked for their cheesy dialogue and cheap uniforms, the Power Rangers are back and apparently better than ever in “Power Rangers: Once & Always” (USA Today).

With the first game under their belt, the Rangers are looking forward to their next matchup against the Devils on April 22nd (VAVEL.com). Fans can catch the action on MSG at 7:00 PM ET (Sports Illustrated).

For those interested in seeing the Rangers’ projected lines, defense pairs, and starting goalie for their upcoming games, Forever Blueshirts has provided a breakdown (Forever Blueshirts).

Overall, the Rangers seem to have control and momentum as they head further into the playoffs.
