Letecia Stauch Found Guilty of Stepmson’s Murder: Sentenced to Life in Prison
Letecia Stauch has been found guilty of murdering her stepson, Gannon Stauch, in 2020 and was sentenced to life in prison without parole (KDVR). The Colorado jury convicted her on all counts (CBS News). Gannon Stauch was only 11 years old when he was killed, and his tragic story has gained significant media attention.
El Paso County Judge sentenced Letecia Stauch to life in prison, following the jury’s decision to find her guilty on all charges (Colorado Springs Gazette). The evidence against Stauch was so horrific that the judge called it the “most horrifying” he has ever seen (Law & Crime).
Following the sentencing, the 4th Judicial District Attorney held a press conference discussing the outcome of the trial (KRDO). The community has been showing their support for Gannon and his family by placing signs outside the courthouse reading, “Justice 4 Gannon” (KKTV).
