May Day Protests: Workers Unite Worldwide for Economic Justice
May 1st marks the day when workers from all around the globe come together in solidarity to express their concerns over labor rights and call for change. Known as May Day, this occasion has been historically used as a platform for workers to demand economic justice and to air grievances. This year’s May Day protests saw rallies organized in multiple states and countries, including Los Angeles, Seattle, and France, where people gathered to advance various causes, including workers’ rights, immigrant rights, and social justice (AP News).
