Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Latest Endeavors: From Filling Potholes to Guardians of the Galaxy
Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former California governor, actor, and bodybuilder, has made headlines recently for a variety of reasons. In one recent event, Schwarzenegger was praised by his son-in-law, Chris Pratt, for his performance in the latest installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, with Schwarzenegger sharing his pride in a public statement (Fox News).
In addition to his affiliations with the movie industry, Schwarzenegger has been vocal about his political views, especially regarding former President Donald Trump. In an interview with CNN, the former governor warned the Republican Party that they would be digging themselves “deeper and deeper” into electoral obscurity if they chose to renominate Trump for the 2024 election (NowThis News).

However, the city of Los Angeles later clarified that the so-called pothole was actually a service trench, which Schwarzenegger had erroneously filled in his efforts to solve the problem (AP News).
In a more personal aspect, the 75-year-old has recently added a new pet to his family: a pig named Schnelly Schwarzenegger (Hindustan Times). Last month, when he became frustrated with the damaged roads in his area, he took upon himself to fill a pothole after waiting weeks for a fix (TODAY).
