They traded their No. 6 pick to the Cardinals, a move that surprised many, considering the Lions could have drafted Jalen.
The Lions have been making moves outside of the draft as well. Pride of Detroit reported that the Lions have already made calls to trade down from the 18th pick in the draft. Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes has noted that the team has the flexibility to do just about anything they want in the 2023 NFL draft.
NFL Draft rumors have also surfaced that the Detroit Lions could trade their No. 6 pick, D’Andre Swift. The Lions have not commented on the rumors. It remains to be seen what the Lions will do, but they have certainly been active during the pre-draft process.
