The 2023 NFL Draft is just around the corner and football fans are eagerly anticipating which players their teams will select. With new mock drafts being released almost daily, there are plenty of predictions to consider.
Eric Edholm of NFL.com released his latest mock draft, which included the Oakland Raiders trading up to select C.J. Stroud, while the Houston Texans opted not to draft a quarterback in the first round (NFL.com).
Meanwhile, CBS Sports offered their own mock draft, which saw the Baltimore Ravens trade Lamar Jackson to the San Francisco 49ers and acquire Trey Lance, among three other trades in the first round (CBS Sports). PFF Live’s Sam Monson and Steve Palazzolo also released a mock draft that projected Will Levis going to an unspecified team in the first round (PFF Live).
SBNation.com hosted a group mock draft with four sports bloggers attempting to make the best selections for their teams, while On3.com released a complete seven-round mock draft that included major shake-ups in the early rounds (SBNation.com, On3.com).
In the world of 2-round mock drafts, Jarret Bailey of Bears Wire offered his final projection of the first two rounds, which included multiple trades and a top offensive tackle being selected early (Bears Wire). And, The Draft Wire departed from the typical team projections and instead offered a “What I Would Do” mock draft (The Draft Wire).
CBS Sports also released another mock draft that saw the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams trading up for quarterbacks in the first round (CBS Sports).
With so many experts weighing in, it will be interesting to see which players ultimately end up going to each team. The 2023 NFL Draft begins in just a few days and the anticipation is high.
