Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 offers players six different slayers to choose from, each with their own unique stats, perks, and abilities. The game is the highly anticipated follow-up to the zombie-hunting original title made by Deep Silver’s Dambuster Studios in 2011. While the game delivers all the ridiculous fun you had hoped for, Dead Island 2 has missed its moment according to The Guardian, with its delayed release making it sluggish and limited. Nonetheless, it is said to be one of the best looking games on PC according to DSOGaming. Hacking at the undead in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles is a lot of fun, but there’s little creativity outside of its great sense of humor as mentioned in IGN’s Dead Island 2 review. Radio Times offers an explanation of the Dead Island 2 map and its different regions and whether it is open world. Also interestingly, a UK insurance company is offering an £8,000 Dead Island 2-themed wake, which will “send your mates to the real LA for a zombie cocktail-fueled party before it goes to hell” as reported by Video Games Chronicle. If you find yourself ready to bonk zombies on the head by the thousands across a full playthrough, GameSpot reports a guide on how long it will take to beat Dead Island 2, while also offering tips on how to get fuses that hide some of the game’s better loot. Overall, Dead Island 2 remains a gory, fun zombie game worth playing, even if it has missed some of its potential.
