However, he later broke his silence on the situation saying he left his phone in the car and didn’t answer for the night (USA Today). Bell seemed to poke fun at the situation with a tweet on Thursday (TMZ).
In other news, the actor was reported to have threatened suicide after a falling out with his wife, according to a 911 call made on the day he was reported missing (TMZ). Bell reportedly threatened to get drunk and hang himself.
Police in Florida later reported that they are in contact with the actor and stated that he “is safe” (Deadline). No further details regarding the incident were provided.
